I can also attest to how expensive traveling can be and know from experience how quickly things add up. I wrote this blog in an effort to help my travel-loving friends find deals and savings along the booking and planning process. In this blog post, I am going to list my true and tried websites, that I personally use, to book my trips and save money along the way. STEP 2: CHOOSE YOUR HOTEL

I have been using Booking.com for years and it has never let me down! It is my favorite site to look for and book accommodations. Aside from always having the best rate, Booking.com offers membership discounts via tiers. So essentially the more times you book on booking.com, the greater discount you get over time. The membership is FREE so it’s an all-around win-win.

OR CHOOSE YOUR HOSTEL:

Hostels are my go-to for an all-around low-cost accommodation option. They were my favorite when I was younger and traveling with a group of friends! Hostels are a great option for solo travelers as well because it is an easy way to meet and socialize with other travelers. STEP 4: BOOK YOUR ACTIVITIES!

On to the FUN part of a trip, booking activities and excursions!! There are tons of ways to search for activities and “what to do’s”. Let me simplify the process for you!

First I go to Trip Advisor, add my destination, and search the “Things to do” tab. From there, I look into things I’m interested in and read reviews. Once, I find an activity I am interested in doing, I head over to Get Your Guide and book the activity. I find that Get Your Guide has the best rates for tours/activities and offers skip-the-line options for museum tickets which is a nice time saver!

STEP 5: BOOK YOUR TRANSPORTATION

For train and bus transportation options (in Europe): Use Omio
